Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart has enjoyed an acting career that has spanned over ten years but it was with the movie Twilight and the character of Bella Swan that she really made her breakthrough.

The journey of Bella comes to an end this week as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 brings the franchise to an epic conclusion.

But away from the franchise 2012 has been an incredibly successful year for the actress as she has mixed and matched her roles.

She returned to the blockbuster this summer with Snow White and the Huntsman as she portrayed Snow White like we have never seen her before.

And while she may be comfortable in the big even movies she can also turn her hand to indie projects - as she showed with the adaptation of Jack Kerouac novel On The Road.

It was an edgier performance from Stewart as she showed that a different side to herself as an actress.

And this versatility will ensure that Stewart will have a long and very successful career after the Twilight movies come to an end.

The actress is currently in talks to replace Emma Stone in new movie Focus, which would see her team up with Ben Affleck.

The movie is set to be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa and filming would get underway in early 2013 if Stewart is on board.

And after the success of Snow White and the Huntsman it is not a surprise to hear that a sequel is in the pipeline.

While their is not real confirmation of any cast members year Stewart could well be reprising the role of Snow White once more.

Kristen Stewart may have made her name in the Twilight franchise but her ability to move from different genres of film with ease means that she will be able to leave the role of Bella Swan behind.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is released 16th November.
