The Eye is a remake of the Hong Kong film 'Jian Gui'. Sydney Wells is an eccomplished violinist who, since a childhood accident, has been completely blind.When a donar is found she undergoes a double cornea transplant and her sight is restored after all these years.But Sydney's joy at being able to see is short lived as an unxplained shadow and frightening images begin to haunt her.They are dismissed by doctors and family as a side effect of the surgery and Sydney's mind adjusting to once again being able to see.But as this goes on her family begin to question her sanity.As these vision don't subside Sydney is convinced that her eye donar has opened her up to a terryfing world that only she can see.
