We are into 2013 and every year we see a whole host of new acting stars breakthrough and start making a name of themselves.
The likes of Quvenzhané Wallis and Iko Uwais were two of the breakthrough stars last year and we are casting an eye over who to look out for in 2013.
And one of those names to watch out for is Tom Holland as he makes his big screen debut with The Impossible.
The young star takes on the role of Lucas in the movie which sees him appear alongside Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor.
You would not know that this is his first acting role as Holland gives a superb performance that is both assured and confident.
He more than holds his ground alongside the very experienced Watts and together the pair form a real relationship that pushes the movie and the story forward.
The Impossible is a fantastic movie that really does throw Holland in to the deep end as it is a major role in a film that is epic in size.
And there is another big role on the horizon for Holland this year as he is set to star in How I Live Now.
This is the latest movie from director Kevin Macdonald and will see Holland team up with Saoirse Ronan and George MacKay.
The film is an adaptation of the novel by Meg Rosoff of the same name and is set to be a great war drama.
Tom Holland is a talent to well and truly keep an eye on over the next couple of years and he promises to be a real star in the making.
