Traitor

Traitor

This week sees the release of Traitor on DVD starring Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce and directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.

When straight arrow FBI agent Roy Claydon (Pearce) heads up the investigation into a dangerous international conspiracy, all clues seem to head back to former U.S. Special Operations officer Samir Horn (Cheadle).

A mysterious figure with a web of connections to terrorist organisations, Horn has a knack for emerging on the scene just as a major operation goes down.

The task force links Horn to a prison break in Yemen, a bombing in Nice and a raid in London, but a tangle of contradictory evidence emerges, forcing Clayton to question whether his quarry is a disaffected former military operative - or something far more complicated.

So FemaleFirst takes a look at some of the best undercover cops that have graced the big screen in recent years.

-Reservoir Dogs (Mr Orange) Tim Roth

From the beginning Mr Orange is believed to be a criminal just like the rest of them but it becomes clear that he is the undercover cop.

- Kindergarten Cop (Detective John Kimble) Arnold Schwarzenegger

While teaching may not have been his strong point protecting, shooting people and being an all round tough was just the think for Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger takes on the role of Detective John Kimble, an Austrian-American police detective who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher.

Kimble is going after drug dealer Cullen Crisp and must protect Crisp’s ex-wife and son from him.

- Eastern Promises (Nikolai) Viggo Mortensen
