In the first Shrek movie, true love’s kiss brings together Shrek and Fiona, now after become a family man Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with Rumpelstiltskin turning his world upside-down.

Only with a kiss from Fiona will Shrek be able to undo all the evil that has befallen his home.

Titanic- 1997

Enchanted followed in the steps of Shrek by twisting classic fairytales for modern movie goers.

Giselle, a lost fairytale princess who finds herself in a foreign land called New York City, bites into a poisoned apple (hmmm that sounds strangely familiar) and can only be awakened by true love’s kiss of course!

Sleeping Beauty-1959

This fairytale shows the power of true loves first kiss when the dashing Prince Charming, saves a sleeping kingdom from eternal slumber, all done in a single gesture of love.

Beauty and the Beast- 1991
 
This story uses the common fairytale theme of a kiss unlocking true beauty within, but it never gets old!

After Belle kisses the dying Beast, she not only revives him, but transforms him back into the handsome prince he really is.
