Extremely Loud and Incredible Close

Extremely Loud and Incredible Close is riding a huge wave of success at the moment after picking up a Best Picture Oscar nomination last week.

Yes the film has joined eight other great picture to battle it out for the biggest prize in movies after really striking a chord with audiences and critics.

The movie marks the return of filmmaker Stephen Daldry as he brings together an all star cast.

And with the release of the movie just around the corner we have some new clips of the movie for you to enjoy:

It's great to see fantastic talent come together and I was excited when I heard that Tom Hanks was going to be joining forces with fellow Oscar winner Sandra Bullock for this movie.

This is the first film we have seen Bullock in since that Oscar win and it is great to have her back on the big screen.

Extremely Loud and Incredible Close also introduces us to Thomas Horn, a new acting talent that we should all be keeping a close eye on.

Eleven-year-old Oskar Schell is an exceptional child: amateur inventor, Francophile, pacifist.

And after finding a mysterious key that belonged to his father, who died in the World Trade Centre on 9/11, he embarks on an exceptional journey - an urgent, secret search through the five boroughs of New York.

As Oskar roams the city, he encounters a motley assortment of humanity, who are all survivors in their own ways.

Ultimately, Oskar’s journey ends where it began, but with the solace of that most human experience: love.

Extremely Loud and Incredible Close is released on 17th February.
