April crept upon us quickly! With the month once again comes a whole new slew of movies that we can’t wait to see. Whether you’re a fan of animated flicks, action and chaos or dramatic thrillers, here are 5 Movies Coming Out In April 2017 We Can’t Wait To Watch…

5. Smurfs: The Lost Village (Out April 7)

Who doesn’t love the Smurfs? This movie promises to be a lot of fun and could really go a long way in helping parents who are looking for something to do with their kids during the Easter holidays! Smurfette discovers a mysterious map in this new flick, which sends her and her friends on a race through the Forbidden Forest, hunting down a lost village before the nefarious evil wizard Gargamel gets there first!

4. The Fate of the Furious (Fast and Furious 8) (Out April 14)

The family return once more, but not as we know them. With Vin Deisel’s character Dominic Toretto lured away by a mysterious woman known only as Cipher (Charlize Theron), the rest of the Furious gang must come together to try and bring Dominic right back out of the world of crime he thought he’d left behind. Betrayed but ready to put their lives on the line once more, this could be the most engaging and addictive instalment to the Fast and Furious franchise to-date.

3. Unforgettable (Out April 21)

Veteran producer Denise Di Novi sits in the director’s chair for the first time in Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming dramatic thriller, Unforgettable. Katherine Heigl stars as Tessa Connover – a woman pushed to the end of her tether when her marriage with ex-husband David (Geoff Stults) comes to a definitive close. With David now engaged, happy and moving on with Julia Banks (Rosario Dawson), Tessa’s journey takes a pathological turn as she becomes obsessed with turning Julia’s dream into an inescapable nightmare. Cheryl Ladd, Sarah Burns, Whitney Cummings, Simon Kassianides, Robert Ray Wisdom and Isabella Kai Rice also star.

2. The Circle (Out April 28)

Emma Watson stars in The Circle, playing a young woman who lands a hugely powerful job at a company known as the Circle. Once she gets there however, she discovers that there are less than helpful agendas in play that won’t just affect her and those closest to her, but the whole of humanity. Tom Hanks also stars in this thrill ride from co-writer and director James Ponsoldt.

1. Sleight (Out April 28)

He’s a hero like none you’ve seen on the big screen before. From the producer who brought recent horror smash hit Get Out to movie theatres comes Sleight. When a young street magician played by Jacob Latimore is left to care for his sister after their parents pass away, he takes to the streets and conducts illegal activities to ensure a roof is kept over their heads. Putting what’s left of his family in danger when he gets in too deep however, his sister is kidnapped and he’s forced to use his intelligent magic to save her. Seychelle Gabriel, Dule Hill, Storm Reid and Sasheer Zamata also star.
