This June, there are some incredible movies hitting the big screen across the globe. But which should you spend your money on seeing? Here are 5 Movies Out In June We Can’t Wait To See…

5. Wonder Woman – Out June 2

Finally, DC Comics fans are getting a big screen release of Wonder Woman, with Gal Gadot leading the charge as the titular character following her introducing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Female director Patty Jenkins helms the project, which is said to be the most impressive instalment of the DC Extended Universe to-date. Chris Pine stars opposite Gadot as love interest Steve Trevor.

4. The Mummy – Out June 9

It’s the reboot we didn’t know we needed, but The Mummy looks set to reignite the love fans have for the franchise when it makes its return, with a female lead villain taking centre-stage for the first time. Tom Cruise stars as the film’s leading hero, going up against Sofia Boutella’s evil former Egyptian princess, returning from the dead to claim the Kingdom she never ruled.

3. Transformers: The Last Knight – Out June 21

With humans and Transformers at war, and Optimus Prime wiped from existence, the key to saving the future lies in the secrets of the past, with the hidden history of the Transformers on Earth having to be unearthed if humans are to stand a chance at survival. This is rumoured to be Michael Bay’s final film as director in the franchise, so we can’t imagine him going out on a whimper. This should be an action-fuelled romp through some of the best action scenes and moments of the year.

2. Baby Driver – Out June 28

Ansel Elgort leads an all-star cast, as the Edgar-Wright directed Baby Driver sees talented getaway driver Baby (Elgort) rely on his personal soundtrack to be the best in the business. Meeting the woman of his dreams, played by Lily James, he hopes to leave his shady lifestyle behind, but it doesn’t take long before he’s coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), and given his biggest and most danagerous challenge to-date.

1. Despicable Me 3 – Out June 30

Gru and the Minions are back for yet another adventure, as Gru discovers he has a brother and is drawn back into the world of villainous goings-on. Can his love Lucy and their three kids bring him to the side of good, and will he be able to take down the evil Balthazar Bratt who’s stuck in the past? We imagine so, and we think it’ll be a journey full of hilarity throughout.
