We always talk about which movies have performed well at the box office but we never really discuss at which actors have been raking in the cash.
No movie can be successful without some great actors on board and there are some that have been very lucrative at the box office.
We take a look at some of the actors who, along with the movies that they have starred, have enjoyed big success.
Samuel L. Jackson - $10.9 billion
Samuel L. Jackson is not just one of the most recognisable faces on the big screen but he is also the coolest man on the planet.
During his very illustrious career he has appeared in over a hundred movies so it doesn't come as any surprise to see that Jackson has done very well for himself.
But it is his blockbuster work then really has seen him bring in the cash with the likes of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and the Iron Man franchise being hugely successful.
And it is in the Marvel movies where he has thrived with the two Iron man movies taking over $1 billion - even though he is uncredited in the first film.
Phantom Menace took another billion but it is Avengers Assemble that is the highest grossing movie of his career.
Avengers Assemble took over $1.5 billion last summer to become the third biggest movie of all time.
Gary Oldman - $9.6 billion
You have got to love a bit of Gary Oldman and he is one of the best actors that this country has ever produced.
And while he may have been picking up praise and accolades for performances in the likes of Tinker Tailor Solider Spy he has also been having huge blockbuster success.
Oldman may have kicked off his career in 1979 but it is his films of more recent times that have had the tills ringing.
In recent years Oldman has had three movies that have grossed over $1 billion at the box office - and not may other actors have his billion dollar record.
The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises both enjoyed this success while Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is his biggest hit.

And it was Toy Story 3 that gave the Oscar winning actor the most successful film of his career as it became the first animated feature to break the $ 1 billion barrier.
At the end of it's theatrical run the movie had grossed over $1,06 million and is the tenth biggest grossing movie of all time.

Dead Man's Chest remains Depp's biggest grossing movie as it took $1,066 billion and is the ninth most successful movie of all time.
Alice In Wonderland is the third and final of Depp's movies to break $1 billion.
Tom Cruise - $7.60 billion
Tom Cruise is one of the biggest movies stars of all time and so it is hard to believe that he has never starred in a billion dollar movie.
Despite this he has still taken $7.60 billion at the global box office throughout his very successful career.
We all remember him for the likes of Jerry Maguire, Born on the Fourth of July, Top Gun and Risky Business and, of course, the Mission: Impossible franchise.
