Jack Reynor

Jack Reynor

Jack Reynor is set to make a real name for himself this week as he stars in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Reynor is part of the brand new cast for the fourth instalment of the popular franchise, and this is the latest role of his film career so far.

Reynor is no stranger to the big screen with the likes of Delivery Man and What Richard Did already under his belt.

Transformers: Age of Extinction sees Reynor take on the role of Shane Dyson, and this is a film that is going to introduce him to a global audience.

Age of Extinction sees Reynor team up with director Michael Bay for the first time, while Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammer are all also on board.

The film has already grossed $100 million in the U.S. over the weekend, and the film looks set to be one of the most successful of 2014.

We are definitely going to see Reynor more and more over the next couple of years, and he already has a string on films on the horizon.

He has already completed work on Grassland, a movie that is written and directed by Gerard Barrett: this is only the second feature film of his directing career.

Reynor takes on the central role of taxi driver John, who find himself pulled into a world of human trafficking in a bit to save his mother from addiction.

Toni Collette takes on the role of Reynor's mother in the film, while Will Poulter is also on board.

Grassland looks set to be a hard-hitting drama, and couldn't be more different from blockbuster Age of Extinction.

Reynor will then switch to Shakespeare as a new version of Macbeth is set to hit the big screen.

Reynor will take on the role of Malcolm in the Justin Kurzel directed film. Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard are also on board as Macbeth & Lady Macbeth.

2014 is set to be a huge success for Reynor as he enjoys a blockbuster smash as well as showing off his versatility as an actor.

Reynor - who was born in America - is one of the young stars to keep an eye over the coming months and years.

Transformers: Age of Extinction is released 5th July.
