It was back in 2008 when we were introduced to Kung Fu loving Po for the first time... and 2016 sees him return in Kung Fu Panda 3.

The Kung Fu Panda film series has already grossed over $1 billion at the global box office - the last film coming in 2011 - and Kung Fu Panda 3 could be the most successful film in the franchise to date.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is the first film from DreamWorks Animations since Home at the beginning of 2015 - the studio has also enjoyed success with How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Penguins of Madagascar in recent years. Kung Fu Panda 3 is set to be another huge smash for the studio and we don't have too long to wait until the film hits the big screen.
The movie will see Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, and Lucy Liu back to voice the characters of Po, Tigress, Shifu, Monkey, Mantis, and Viper.
However, there are some great new additions to the cast list as Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson and J.K. Simmons will be introduced as Li, Mei Mei and Kai.
Jennifer Yuh is back in the director's chair for her first film since she enjoyed huge success with Kung Fu Panda 2. This time around, she has teamed up with Alessandro Carloni in the director's chair. This is the first time we have seen Carloni in the director's chair for this franchise, but he is no stranger to the series having worked in the animation department on the first two films.
When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters.
But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible... learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
If you are an animation film fan then 2016 is going to be a great year as there are a whole host of exciting movies on the horizon. Kung Fu Panda 3 is just one of the movies on the horizon but it looks set to be one of the biggest and one of the most eagerly anticipated. It is sure to be another huge hit!!!!
