We’ve seen plenty of dangerous spy stories in the past, but none are quite like The Exception. Starring Jai Courtney as Nazi captain Stefan Brandt; a man who’s sent to investigate a threat to the exiled Kaiser Wilhelm II (Christopher Plummer), but who finds himself drawn into an unexpected romance with one of the Kaiser’s maids, Mieke (Lily James).
