That's news to me. good to know... no one had told me, but they can release it whenever they want... I don't know when it would be in theaters.
Ben Stiller's character will have five-year-old twins in 'Little Fockers'.
Director Paul Weitz says a great deal of time has passed between 'Meet The Fockers', the second movie in the comic franchise and the forthcoming third instalment, revealing the plot centres around how Ben's character Greg 'Gaylord' Focker and his wife Pamela, played by Teri Polo, cope with their brood.
He revealed: "At the end of the last one they were getting married, and in this one they have a couple of five year olds. They have five-year-old twins. This was an opportunity to work with a bunch of actors who I think are fantastic; it was too good of an opportunity to pass up."
Explaining more about the plot, the director confirmed Owen Wilson and Robert De Niro will also return to their roles.
He added to MTV movies: "It's Ben Stiller, Bob De Niro, Owen Wilson. They've all moved on with their lives and at the beginning of the movie, Greg and Kevin --- Ben and Owen's characters -- are in a good place. Ben has earned Jack's respect, and it's about no matter how you've moved ahead in your life, there's still anxiety and insecurity around the corner for you."
It was announced last week that the film will be released on July 30 2010, but the filmmaker admits he had no idea it was to come out so soon.
He said: "That's news to me. good to know... no one had told me, but they can release it whenever they want... I don't know when it would be in theaters."
