Ben Stiller is to be honoured with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy at the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards.
Stiller will be feted at a gala to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on 30 November (11).
He'll join Helena Bonham Carter and Harry Potter director David Yates among those who will receive awards at the event.
Stiller kicked off his career back in the mid eighties and since then he has ascted, directed and produced.
He was last seen on the big screen in Little Fockers, the third film in the series, at the end of last year.
He will be back later this year with Towe Heist and he is currently working on Madagascar 3, where he will once again voice the character of Alex.
