Benicio Del Toro

Benicio Del Toro has revealed that the make-up was the most difficult part of filming The Wolfman.

The actor returns to the big screen this week in a remake of the 1941 classic of the same name which is directed by Joe Johnston, the man behind Jurassic Park III and Hidalgo.

However the Oscar winning actor found that the heavy make-up, which took three hours to apply each day, was the most challenging part of the role.

Speaking to Total Film the actor said: "The make-up was not easy. If I wanted to say something or do something I had to take off my teeth.

"I walked around with a team that had to take off my hands so I could scratch myself or eat. But I did scare people!"

Del Toro is joined on screen by an all star cast of Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving as the movie finally makes it to the big screen after a string of set backs and delays.

The Wolfman is released 12th February.
