David Tennant has called getting to work on an Aardman project as a 'rollercoaster of joy.'
The actor has lent his voice to the character of Charles Darwin in The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists, which is the latest project from the animation giants.
David and his co-stars were on the red carpet for the premiere of the movie when he spoke about what it was like working on an Aardman film:
Tennant has mixed and matched his movie roles with TV work over the last couple of years moving from shows such as True Love and This is Jinsy to movie Fright Night.
This is not the first animation movie for the actor have voiced a character in the smash hit How to Train Your Dragon.
The actor is currently working on Nativity 2: The Second Coming.
The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists is released 28th March.
