Eva Green

Eva Green has revealed that it was Johnny Depp who made her feel comfortable and welcome on the set of The Dark Shadows.

The actress teams up with the Oscar nominated actor as well as filmmaker Tim Burton on a big screen version of the sixties TV series and she admits that she was very nervous when she got on set.

Speaking to InStyle magazine: "Johnny is very humble. On my first day, I was freaking out, thinking, 'Oh my God, I'm going to get fired,' and he came and shook my hand and said, 'I'm very happy you're on board'.

"He made me feel comfortable - he knows how scary it is to have arrived on that big machine."

Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter and Chloe Moretz are also on the cast list which marks the first Depp/Burton collaboration since Alice In Wonderland back in 2010.

Perfect Sense was the last time that we saw Green on the big screen as she moved between movies and TV with Camelot.

Dark Shadows is released 11th May.
