Gnomeo & Juliet

Gnomeo and Juliet has returned to the top of the UK box office.

The animated take on classic love story Romeo and Juliet was toppled by Paul last week but re-gained the top spot.

The movie took a further £2.5 million at the box office this weekend. Paul, which sees Simon Pegg reunite with Nick Frost, slipped just a single place to this week's number two.

The highest new entry was in at three in the form of I Am Number Four which sees a return to the big screen for Alex Pettyfer.

John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him.

Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four.

Yogi Bear was up two places from six to four while Tangled also moved up two to round off the top five.

Despite it's Oscar win The King's Speech fell three from three to six - however all of the top six broke the £1 million barrier over the weekend.
