Josh Brolin, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jemaine Clement are frontrunners to land lead roles in the third Men In Black movie, according to Internet gossip.

The trio are reportedly in talks to replace Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in the alien-fighting action comedy franchise.

BloodyDisgusting.com reports Brit Cohen and Clement are both being considered for an agent called Yaz.

Both Men In Black films have made over $1 billion globally.

The first Men In Black movie hit cinema screen back in 1997, and it helped cement Will Smith as a Hollywood leading man.

The movie was a huge critical hit and went on to gross over $589 million at the global box office.

Men In Black II followed in 2002 and saw Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles as Agent J and Agent K.

The movie was not met well by the critics and it wasn't as successful at the box office as it's predecessor taking $441 million.
