Men in Black

Men in Black

A third Men in Black movie is reportedly in the pipeline.

It is still unknown whether Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will return to their roles as agents J and K or if Barry Sonnenfeld will return to the director's chair.

Sony's President of Worldwide Distribution Rory Bruer mentioned a tentative release date of 2011 although nothing is for definite at the moment.

Men in Black, which was released back in 1997, shot Will Smith to superstardom as he took on the role of James Edwards, an NYPD office turned MIB agent.

The film was a massive box office success grossing over $589 million and it wasn't long before a sequel hit cinema screens.

Men in Black II was released in 2002 and saw Smith and Jones reprise there roles, as well as Sonnenfeld return in the role as director.

While it didn't do quite as well as it's predecessor it did gross a healthy $441 million at the global box office, however it wasn't as well received with the critics.
