Neve Campbell says she would meet with producers to discuss a fifth Scream movie.
Since the fourth film hit the big screen last year - in which Campbell reprised the role of Sydney Prescott - there has been talk of further additions to the franchise.
And while nothing has yet been given the green light Campbell says she would give the project some major consideration.
Speaking to Collider the actress said: "We'll see. I'm not sure they're going to make it, to be honest.
"If that were to come up again and they were to approach me, I'd have a chat with them about it."
Last year saw the actress concentrate on TV work with Titanic: Blood and Steel and Grey's Anatomy and she is set to return to the small screen with movie Sworn to Silence.
But she has also been linked to roles in movies Vivaldi and Division 19.
