Rachel McAdams has revealed that co-star Harrison Ford always had an Altoid before shooting a scene.

The pair are set to star together in Morning Glory, which hits the big screen in the new year, and McAdams admits that she will never be able a breath mint again without thinking of the Indiana Jones star.

Speaking to Parade the actress said:"I was intimidated at first by Harrison, but I discovered that he's pretty funny.

"I will never have an Altoid again without thinking of him because he'd always have Altoids. He called them his acting pills, which I thought was so cute because he so clearly doesn't need acting pills.

"But every time he'd pop one, he'd say 'I need my acting pills'. He's very, very funny."

Morning Glory, which also stars Diane Keaton and Patrick Wilson, is McAdams' first movie since starring in Sherlock Holmes at the end of 2009.

But she has already completed work on Midnight In Paris, which also stars Marion Cotillard and Adrien Brody, and The Vow, in which she has worked alongside Channing Tatum and Sam Neill.

Morning Glory is released 21st January.
