Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Scott. Z. Burns has been brought in to pen the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes was one of the surprise hits of last summer as it enjoyed both critical and box office success upon it's release.
Seriously if you haven't seen this movie then you really should check it out as Andy Serkis' central performance as Caesar is just astonishing.
Director Rupert Wyatt expressed his desire at a sequel not long after the movie was released and he is set to return to the director's chair for the project.
Burns has penned the likes of The Bourne Ultimatum, The Informant and Contagion in recent years.
He has also penned The Bitter Pill, which is a new movie directed by Steven Soderbergh, as well as The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - also a Soderbergh project.
