The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has climbed to the top of the UK box office in it's second week of release.

The Judi Dench led comedy has ended the run of The Woman In Black after three weeks in the #1 spot.

Dench is joined by Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith in the feel good movie of 2012.

The film took in excess of £2.3 million this weekend to topple Daniel Radcliffe's latest movie.

The Woman In Black has been denied a month in the top spot but slipped just a single place to this week's number two.

This Means War, which sees Reese Witherspoon team up with Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, was the highest new entry at three.

Safe House and The Muppets rounded off the top five as they both dropped just a single place to four and five.

Project X was new at six while Wanderlust, the mew movie from Jennifer Aniston, limped in at number seven.

The movie sees the actress team up with Paul Rudd and this movie has also struggled in America.

After Oscar triumph The Artist was up one place to eight while Journey 2: The Mysterious Island was down two at seven.

The Vow was this week's biggest faller as it dropped four places to round off the top ten.
