The Other Guys has remained at the top of the UK box office for the third consecutive week.

The buddy cop movie, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, grossed just under £1 million to remain in the number one spot.

Ben Affleck's The Town, which has been receiving great reviews, moved up a place from last week's number three to this week's number two.

The first new entry came in the form of Buried, which stars Ryan Reynolds. Paul is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin.

With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.

Eat Pray Love fell two places to number four while horror movie The Hole was down just a single place to wrap up the top five.

The second new entry was in at sick with British movie Made In Dagenham. Directed by Nigel Cole the movie boasts an impressive British cast including Sally Hawkins, Rosamund PIke, Bob Hoskins and Miranda Richardson.

This week also saw a return to the top ten for Back to the Future, which is celebrating it's 25th anniversary, as it opened at number seven.

Toy Story 3 was down two places to number eight, the movie has been inside the top ten for ten weeks. But this week's biggest faller was Devil which dropped four places from five to eight.

Grown Ups rounded off the top ten after dropping three places.
