Tom Hardy has described working on Mad Max: Fury Road 'amazing'.
The British actor is set to take on the central role of Max Rockatansky as he takes over from Mel Gibson.
The movie sees the actor team up with director George Miller while Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult are also on the cast list.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "It was an amazing experience.
"It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level."
2012 has been a busy year for the actor with This Mean War, Lawless and The Dark Knight Rises all hitting the big screen.
And next year looks to be just as busy as the actor confirms that he is set to take on the role of Al Capone.
"Yes that is true, but it's a question of when. And who with, and how that works. But that is in the works," he continued.
"It's just a question of what comes first, who writes what and who's directing."
Mad Max: Fury Road is yet to be given a release date.
