Aaron Poole says he has started thinking about making the move into the director’s chair after working as a producer on The Conspiracy.

Poole will be returning to the big screen this week as he teams up with director Christopher MacBride for the new thriller.

Now that he has had a hand in bring a project together, he now thinks he has the confidence to perhaps make the leap into filmmaking.

Speaking exclusively here at FemaleFirst the actor said: “As a creative producer, I don’t do any of the financing, but I love developing projects and then building the teams.

“I didn’t think that I ever wanted to direct, but The Conspiracy really brought me to a level that made me feel confident and curious enough to start to look in to that. So I have had some producers send me novels to help adapt and then direct.”

However, before we see Poole in the director’s chair he has a host of acting projects on the horizon. He has already found success this year with TV series Copper, and he has completed work on The Captive and The Animal Project.

He has also just completed work on Forsaken, a movie that sees him star alongside Demi Moor, Kiefer Sutherland and Donald Sutherland, while Jon Cassar is in the director’s chair.

The Conspiracy is released 11th October
