The 27-year-old actor married the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' filmmaker in 2012 and the two previously worked together on 'Nowhere Boy' back in 2009, but now the husband and wife duo are set to work with each other again.

Sam, 50, will be adapting the James Frey's book 'A Million Little Pieces' which gained traction after it was featured on Oprah Winfrey's book club, The Hollywood Reporter claimed.

The book was originally sold as a memoir and later marketed as a semi-fictional novel following accusations of literary forgery.

It tells the story of a 23-year-old alcoholic and drug abuser and deals with how he copes with rehabilitation in a 12 steps-orientated treatment centre.

Originally Warner Bros. shelved the project after it won the rights and was set it up with producer Brad Pitt and his then-Plan B partners Jennifer Aniston and Brad Grey.

In May, Sam talked about a secret project she is working on with her husband, and said: "We are already parents that run our house, so when we together it's the best."

Aaron recently admitted he is very proud of his wife - who has kids Angelica, 20, and Jessie, 12, from a previous marriage, and Wylda, six, and five-year-old Romy with her actor husband - and her creative vision and is a huge fan of the 'Gypsy' director's work.

He gushed: "She's a visionary and an artist, and so she can have such high concepts and ideas and naturally as an optimistic person. There's very cynical people in the world, and it's easy to be in that position and Sam can overcome the rise to that and overcome that

"There are ideas where people think, 'Oh, that's not possible, and in her mind, it's just like, 'Oh, that's the way you feel about it but I'll still somehow figure out a way and that's why she is who she is and that's why she's very good at it.' "
