Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed is a movie that has been in the pipeline for some time and filming is set to finally get underway this year... while the cameras may not have started rolling, a teaser poster for the film released.

According to Screen Rant, Ubisoft have started their own production company Ubisoft Motion Pictures and the poster has been released as part of the Ubisoft's promotion for the E3 trade fair.

Michael Fassbender is set to take on the central role in the film as he reunites with director Justin Kurzel. Assassin's Creed with be their second feature film together having just worked on an adaptation of Macbeth.

Fassbender's Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard and Alicia Vikander have both also been linked to the film - which is already a movie that is surrounded in excitement and anticipation.

The movie is based on the computer game of the same name and filming is due to start in September for a December 2016 release.

Bill Collage, Adam Cooper, and Michael Lesslie have come together to pen the screenplay, while Fassbender is also serving as one of the producers as well as taking on the leading role.

Assassin's Creed is set to hit the big screen in the UK on 30th December 2016.
