Avengers: Age of Ultron is the UK's #1 movie for the third consecutive week as it holds off the challenge from Spooks: The Greater Good.

Age of Ultron has taken a further £3.5 million at the box office this weekend and has now grossed in excess of £35 million in the UK alone. Worldwide the movie has grossed over $881 million and it seems only matter of days before it reached the magical $1 billion barrier.

Spooks: The Greater Good - which is inspired by the popular BBC One series was the highest new entry at two. This is the first time that Spooks has been brought to the big screen and saw Bharat Nalluri return to the director's chair.

Peter Firth reprised the popular role of Harry Pearce - who appeared in all series of the TV show - and is joined on the cast list by Kit Harington, Jennifer Ehle, Elyes Gable and Lara Pulver.

Far From The Madding Crowd slipped just a single place to three this week, while Unfriended was also down one at four. The Age of Adaline was the second new entry inside the top ten as it opened at number five.

The Age of Adaline marks the return of Blake Lively to the big screen in what is her first film since Savages back in 2012.

Fast & Furious 7 fell out of the top five as it dropped two places from four to six, while Big Game was the third and final new entry inside the top ten at seven.

Home was down one of three movies that dropped three places this week, as the animation movie fell from five to eight.

Cinderella and Two By Two were also down three spots as they finished the weekend at nine and ten - down from last week's six and seven.
