Written and directed by Drew Goddard, with Jeremy Latcham serving as producer, comes upcoming thriller Bad Times At The El Royale. Though the film at first looks to be a happy-go-lucky, light-hearted piece of cinematic theatre, chaos quickly descends in the first official trailer, released earlier this week for the movie. Starring Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Lewis Pullman, and Cailee Spainey, Bad Times At The El Royale follows the story of seven strangers, each of whom have their own secrets they’d rather see buried, than boil to the surface.
Meeting in Lake Tahoe at the El Royale – a rundown hotel with its own dark history – each of the seven individuals will have their own shots at redemption before everything goes up in flames.
Chatting about the movie, Latcham says: “Drew Goddard has assembled a lobby full of amazing characters in his storied El Royale Hotel and I cannot wait for audiences to meet these truly unique folks and learn who they are and uncover what makes each of them tick. It will almost certainly not be what it is expected to be and that is a lot of the fun of the film. It is character driven in the best sense.”
Bad Times At The El Royale comes to cinemas across the UK on October 10, 2018.
