Black Sea

Black Sea

Black Sea is set to see Kevin Macdonald return to the director's chair in a tense new drama that will take audiences on a chilling trip under the waves.

Macdonald has brought us films such as State of Play and The Last King of Scotland over the years, but this is his first live action film since his adaptation of How I Live Now.

Black Sea sees the director team up with Jude Law for the first time, as the actor takes on the central role of Captain Robinson.

The brand new trailer for the film has arrived, and it is a movie that I am already looking forward to:

A great cast has been assembled for the film, as Scoot McNairy, Jodie Whittaker, Ben Mendelsohn, and Grigoriy Dobrygin are all on board.

Black Sea centres on a rogue submarine captain (Jude Law) who, after being laid off from a salvage company, pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumoured to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea.

As greed and desperation take control on board their claustrophobic vessel, the increasing uncertainty of the mission causes the men to turn on each other to fight for their own survival.

Black Sea is released 5th December.
