Bradley Cooper is set to produce a TV series that his based on his 2011 movie Limitless.

It is unlikely that Cooper will appear in the show but he has teamed up with Relativity Media's TV production arm, Relativity Television, and Georgeville Television as an executive producer.

Relativity's CEO Ryan Kavanaugh told Deadline: "'Limitless' is the perfect example of Relativity's multiplatform approach to creating quality content."

Georgeville CEO Marc Rosen added: "The film has an organic natural extension into a compelling and sophisticated one-hour drama that is both a thrill-ride and a social commentary."

Limitless was a thriller movie that was based on the novel The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn.

The movie followed the central character of Eddie, who is able to access 100% of his brain's abilities thanks to a mysterious pill.

We haven't seen Bradley Cooper on the big screen since The Hangover Part III, but he has a series of exciting projects in the pipeline.

He will reunite with director David O'Russell at the end of the year for American Hustle: a film that is already tipped as a possible Oscar contender.

Cooper will also be lending his voice to Rockey Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, the latest project from Marvel.

The thriller was a huge success at the box office, grossing $160 million worldwide.

It is unlikely Cooper will star in the TV adaptation as he has a busy schedule coming up. The actor will next be seen in 'American Hustle', which reunites him with 'Silver Linings Playbook' director David O'Russell and co-star Jennifer Lawrence. He will then voice Rocket Raccoon in Marvel's superhero blockbuster 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
