Despicable Me 2 has passed the $900 million mark at the global box office.
The movie hit UK screens back in the summer and yet it is a movie that continues to perform well around the world.
Despicable Me 2 saw the return of Gru and the popular minions - Steve Carell was back to bring the central character to life.
The first film was a box office hit back in 2010 when it grossed in excess of $543.1 million.
But Despicable Me 2 has comfortably surpassed its predecessor and has currently taken $906.2 million at the box office so far.
Despicable Me 2 is currently the second highest grossing movie of 2013 - but it is unlikely to catch and surpass Iron Man 3 on $1.2 billion.
But the animation film is comfortably ahead of Fast & Furious 6, which grossed over $788 million this summer.
Monsters University and Man of Steel complete the list of the top five biggest movies of the year so far.
