Disney, as we all know, release some incredible animated movies. Last year (2020) saw the release of films such as Onward, starring Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, and Soul, with Jamie Foxx. Now, Disney reveals concept art for a new film that already looks stunning.

Strange World is a forthcoming feature film from Disney that is set to release late next year (2022), and the artwork for the project has just been released that shows what appears to be a father and son looking at the world before them in wonder.
The upcoming action-adventure will take audiences deep into uncharted and dangerous land, in which wonderous creatures reside. This magical world is just waiting to be discovered by the fabled Clades, a family of explorers whose differences may be the reason their latest and most important mission crumbles.
Don Hall, director of Strange World, believes that the feature is a nod to pulp magazines; popular fiction in the first half of the 20th century that was printed on cheap wood pulp paper.
“I loved reading the old issues of pulps growing up,” said Hall, “they were big adventures in which a group of explorers might discover a hidden world of ancient creatures. They’ve been a huge inspiration for Strange World.”
The movie is led by Hall (Big Hero 6, Raya and the Last Dragon), and co-directed and written by Qui Nguyen (co-writer for Raya and the Last Dragon), with Roy Conli serving as producer (Big Hero 6, Tangled).
With such a talented team behind it, Strange World is already set to be a fantastic adventure; the plot appears to be fresh and has a lot of potential to be a journey unlike any other.
The concept art revealed is incredible, and the two figures are almost certainly father and son, or perhaps father and daughter, and have clearly stumbled upon something that is leaving them in a state of utter disbelief and awe.
There is so much left to discover about this film, such as other characters, more images, and the cast, which will be exciting to learn.
Strange World will release on November 23rd, 2022.
