Doctor Strange is already one of the 2016 films I cannot wait to see - the movie won't be hitting the big screen until October - and Marvel have released some fantastic new concept images.
Doctor Strange is set to be the first new franchise of Marvel's Phase 3 of movies and it will be the second of two Marvel films to hit the big screen this year.
While official images from the film are still being kept under wraps, Marvel has released some terrific concept art to get us, even more, excited about the film.
These new images give us our first glimpse of the Sanctum Sanctorum - where Doctor Strange is based on Earth:
Filming on Doctor Strange is well under way and I am looking forward to seeing Benedict Cumberbatch take on the title role. While we are no stranger to seeing Cumberbatch lead movies, this will be his first lead blockbuster role. I hope we see him in many more Marvel movies going forward.
Another fantastic cast has been assembled as Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, and Oscar winner Tilda Swinton will star alongside Cumberbatch.
The movie will also mark the return of Scott Derrickson to the director's chair for what will be the biggest film of his career. We know Derrickson for his horror projects such as Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose but this will be his first Marvel movie.
Doctor Strange is released 28th October.
