Ender's Game
Ender's Game has topped the U.S. box office and toppled Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.
Ender's Game is s big screen adaptation of the novel by Scott Orson Card of the same name and has been adapted and directed by Gavin Hood.
An all star cast has been assembled as Asa Butterfield. Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis and Hailee Steinfeld are all on board.
The movie took $28 million in its opening weekend to see off the competition from Bad Grandpa.
Bad Grandpa slipped just a single place to number two, while Last Vegas was new at three.
Animation film Free Birds was in at four, while Gravity rounded off the top five; Gravity will be hitting the big screen in the UK this week.
Captain Phillips dropped out of the top five this week as it fell three places to six. 12 Years A Slave was the only movie on the up this week as it went from eight to seven.
Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 and Carrie were both down three, while The Counsellor was the biggest faller as it dropped from four to ten.
