Ewan McGregor has revealed that he picked up an injury on the set of Haywire when he accidentally punched his co-star.
McGregor teams up with Gina Carano in the Steven Soderbergh directed movie and the pair go head to head in a fight scene.
But the actor admits that he picked up an injury during that scene.
Speaking to E! News the actor said: "The only time I got hurt was when I punched Gina Carano in the head by accident.
"I had a series of three punches, but the third one for one reason or another I connected really hard on the side of her head."
2012 looks set to be a busy year for the actor as he will also be starring in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen later this year.
He has also completed work on Jack the Giant Killer and The Impossible, which sees him team up with Naomi Watts.
