Eddie Redmayne returns as Newt Scamander in the big screen's second chapter of the Fantastic Beasts trilogy, and a brilliant final trailer for the movie - subtitled The Crimes of Grindelwald - has today (September 26) been revealed.

The film will see Newt team up with a young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to take on powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp); a man captured by the Magical Congress of the United States of America in the first movie, but somebody who quickly makes good on his threats to escape.

Gathering followers after his escape, Grindelwald has legions of loyal soldiers who are unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to a higher power, and have them rule over all non-magical beings.

As the wizarding world becomes more divided and fractuous thsn ever before, danger lurks around each corner, and loyalty - as well as love - is tested on an almighty level.

An all-star ensemble cast also includes Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo and Poppy Corby-Tuech.

David Yates serves as director on the movie, from a screenplay by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. Rowling also serves as a producer alongside David Heyman, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas across the UK on November 16, 2018, distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
