Writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky are teaming up once more and moving their comedy to the sixth grade with upcoming flick Good Boys, directed by Stupnitsky and starring some of Hollywood's youngest rising stars. The first trailer for the film has now officially dropped online, and you can get your first glimpse of the action below:

Invited to his very first 'kissing party', 12-year-old Max (Jacob Tremblay) is anxious because he's never been given any pointers on how to make out! Hoping to learn some tips, he teams up with his best friends Thor (Brady Noon) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams) to fly Max's father's (Will Forte) drone and spy on what they think is a teenage couple playing tonsil tennis next door.

In the world of comedy however, things never go exactly as they're planned! A destroyed drone leads to the group trying to replace the gadget before Max's dad returns home, meaning they must skip a day of school and make some big decisions if they're to end the journey with their mission complete.

Terrifying teenage girls along the way (Molly Gordon and Midori Francis), as well as accidentally stealing drugs, running from police and playing paintball in a frat-house, the movie looks set to have us all crying with laughter when it hits the big screen later this year.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Superbad, Sausage Party) are back together as producers on Good Boys, alongside Eisenberg and James Weaver. Stupnitsky sits in the director's chair.

Good Boys comes to cinemas across the UK on August 16, 2019.
