MCM Birmingham Comic Con is making its return this November 2021, and the first two guests have been unveiled! Both Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid will be at the event over the weekend, with Christensen attending both the Saturday and Sunday, and McDiarmid attending on the Sunday.

Running across Saturday November 13th to Sunday November 14th, the epic celebration of pop culture is making a return this autumn, first at ExCeL London between October 22-24, before moving to the NEC in Birmingham in mid-November.

Canadian actor Christensen is famed for his role as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel films, and will soon be starring in the Disney+ mini series Obi Wan Kenobi as the villainous Darth Vader. With both autograph and photo opportunities available, we imagine all Star Wars fans in the area will be clamouring to get some time with the star!

Scotland’s own McDiarmid meanwhile, is also famed for playing a Star Wars baddie - the terrifying Emperor Palpatine. With just one day for fans to come face-to-face with the Dark Lord himself, autograph and photo spots are expected to sell out quickly.

There’s no word yet on just who else will be attending the event at NEC Birmingham across the two days, but we’re sure the organisers have got plenty of surprises up their sleeves!

A whole host of independent creators will also be present, showcasing their art, whilst attendees are encouraged to enjoy the freedom of being themselves and finding a family away from home, experiencing moments unlike any they've ever had before.
