Hunt for the Wilderpeople is a movie that looks like it is going to be a lot of fun and is based on the book Wild Pork and Watercress by Barry Crump.

The movie marks the return of Taika Waititi to the director's chair for his first feature film since What We Do in the Shadows. As well a being in the director's chair, Waititi also penned the screenplay. He is going to go on to even bigger things as he has just started work on Thor: Ragnarok.

The brand new trailer for the film has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:

Julian Dennison and Sam Neill take on the central roles of Ricky and Hec, a rebellious kid and his foster uncle who go missing in the New Zealand bush.

They are joined on the cast list by Rhys Darby, Rima Te Wiata, Rachel House, and Oscar Knightley are all on board.

Ricky, a defiant young city kid, finds himself on the run with his cantankerous foster uncle in the wild New Zealand bush after a series of misadventures befall the unlikely duo.

A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together in this hilarious and heartfelt adventure.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople is released 16th September.
