The first image of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique on X-Men: Days of Future Past has been revealed.

Director Bryan Singer poster the picture of the Oscar winning actress as she returns to the role that she played for the first time back in 2011 in X-Men: First Class.

The Tweet also hinted that we are a going to see a 'vengeful' Mystique this time around.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will see Lawrence reunite with Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as they will reprise the role of Magneto and Charles Xavier.

2013 is set to be a busy year for the actress with Devil You Know, Serena, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire all set to hit the big screen.

Lawrence is also set to reunite with director David O. Russell and actor Bradley Cooper for American Hustle.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is released 18th July 2014.
