Kevin Macdonald is set to return to the director's chair with his latest film Black Sea, and a brand new poster for the movie has been revealed.

Black Sea is set to hit the big screen at the beginning of December, as Macdonald teams up with actor Jude Law for the first time in the submarine drama.

If you are looking for an adventure/thriller to tickle your taste buds then Black Sea could well be the movie for you, as it is promising to be an action packed and pulsating drama.

Macdonald has given us films such as The Last King of Scotland and State of Play during his career, but Black Sea is his first live action feature film since How I Live Now last year.

Law is set to take on the central role of Captain Robinson, and is joined on the cast list by Grigoriy Dobrygin, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Jodie Whittaker, and Michael Smiley.

Black Sea centres on a rogue submarine captain (Jude Law) who, after being laid off from a salvage company, pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumoured to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea.

As greed and desperation take control on board their claustrophobic vessel, the increasing uncertainty of the mission causes the men to turn on each other to fight for their own survival.

I am a big fan of Macdonald as a filmmaker as he always delivers movie that are packed with fascinating characters. Black Sea looks set to be another strong and character driven movie, and I am looking forward to see Law in the central role.

Black Sea is released 5th December.
