While the world may not exactly be waiting for a fifth Sharknado movie, that’s exactly what they’ll be getting with the flick currently filming in London.
Of course it’s going to be another strange affair, but this time round Katie Price has joined the cast, as confirmed by a tweet from Saturday Night Live’s Chris Kattan.
She’s just one of the new British stars scheduled to appear in the movie, with British Olympic diver Tom Daley also recently spotted shooting scenes in Central London.
Syfy recently released a short synopsis for the fifth instalment to the series, which reads: “With much of North America lying in ruins, the rest of the world braces for the inevitable – a global sharknado. Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and his family must put a stop to this disaster before Earth is completely obliterated.”
No information about Price’s role has yet been revealed – it could simply be a cameo appearance that lasts for a matter of seconds – but seeing her in a flick of this type will of course come as great news to her fans.
Sharknado 5 comes to screens later this year.
