Kingsman: The Secret Service 2

Kingsman: The Secret Service has been one of the surprise hits of 2015 so far and, earlier this year, it was announced that a second movie was set to go ahead.

Now it has been confirmed that the cameras will start rolling in April after a scheduling conflict for Taron Egerton has been settled.

Egerton, who made his breakthrough with his performance in Kingsman this year, is set to film the sequel and Robin Hood: Origins this year and there was a clash when it came to filming.

Robin Hood: Origins was due to start filming in January but that has now been delayed so Egerton can reprise the role of Eggsy before going on to start work on the new Robin Hood project.

Matthew Vaughn was in the director's chair for the first film earlier this year and is expected to helm the sequel. There was also word earlier this summer that we may see Colin Firth return to the franchise.

Egerton is an actor who has been in great demand this year as he has already completed work on Eddie the Eagle, in which he will take on the role of Eddie Edwards alongside Hugh Jackman and Christopher Walken.

The movie sees Dexter Fletcher back in the director's chair while Vaughn is also aboard the project as a producer.

No official release date for Kingsman: The Secret Service 2 has been announced nor have we had any hints about a possible plot or who will be joining Edgerton on the cast list.
