Lindsay Lohan will produce and star in 'Inconceivable' and she is excited to pour her energy into something she "loves to do".

Lohan - who was catapulted to the spotlight in 1998's 'Parent Trap' where she played twins Hallie Parker and Annie James - is making her comeback in the film which follows a woman who is trying to reclaim something she has lost.

Lohan - who has been admitted to rehab on numerous occasions in the past few years and finished her 90-day court ordered stint last summer - is excited about "starting fresh" and believes it could be "therapeutic" to focus on her career.

Talking at a press conference during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, she said: "I've never had the honour of coming here before ... to bring something to the table, which is starting fresh for me.

"It's a nice change to be back among people that are in the industry that I've been in since I was a kid.

"It's therapeutic for me to throw myself into something that really excites me and something that I love to do so much."

The screen beauty will be responsible for finding a director for the project which is set to begin filming in March.

The film's producer and financier, Randall Emmett, called Lohan "one of the greatest young actresses of her generation".
