Luke Evans

Luke Evans has hinted that his character in Fast & Furious 6 is very different to any villain that Dom and co have ever faced before.

The British actor is one of the exciting new names on the cast list as he takes on the role of Owen Shaw in the film.

The movie sees Evans team up with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson as the three of them try to bring him down - but he is not the villain that the team are use to.

Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actor said: "He comes from a different place. His background is military, he's special ops, paramilitary trained, so he's an elite man - he's been trained to such a high level in many things.

"And Shaw is now using that against them. It puts him in a much higher bracket as a threat than the other people who have been a threat to the team."

"He's very clever, he's very quick, he's very fit, he has money, and his motives are very different to that of the team because they have family and integrity, whereas Owen could replace anyone in his team and it wouldn't matter to him at all, you know?

"When somebody works in that mentality that makes for quite a dark force and a dark threat. It makes for a very good villain."

Evans has been announced in some exciting projects over the last couple of weeks as he is set to take on the role of Eric Draven in the remake of The Crow as well as star in Dracula.

Fast & Furious 6 is out now.
