Next February, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be dropping yet another huge movie on the world with the release of Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman in the titular role; a man also known as T’Challa. You can check out a brilliant new poster for the film, showcasing the incredible cast brought together for the movie below:

T’Challa returns home to Wakanda following the death of his father, set to take the throne of one of the world’s most technologically advanced nations. Deep in the heart of Africa, T’Challa will quickly be tested by one of the world’s most powerful enemies, putting the fate of Wakanda and the entire planet at risk.

Betrayed by some he thought he could trust, the young king must bring together his formidable legion of allies and unleash the full power of Black Panther if he is to succeed in taking down an old adversary and claim the throne that is rightfully is.

Ryan Coogler serves as director on the MCU film, which also stars the likes of Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.

The character of T’Challa was of course first introduced in Avengers: Civil War, but this movie will see the hero become one of a privileged few who have been allowed their own solo flick. It will also serve as the first superhero movie ever where a person of colour has been given the opportunity to lead a film, which we think is way overdue! We can’t wait to see how it all turns out, as it looks to be one of the most colourful and exciting MCU adventures to-date.

Black Panther comes to cinemas across the UK on February 12, 2018.
