Sisters

Fey and Poehler have been the talk of the Golden Globes over the last couple of years - the duo teamed up to host - and now they are set to play sisters in the brand new movie.

There's still a couple of weeks to go until the film hits the big screen and it really is promising to be one of the unmissable comedies of the month. Check out the hilarious brand new trailer:

Sisters marks the return of Jason Moore to the director's chair in what is his first feature since the success of Pitch Perfect back in 2012. Paula Pell, who has written for Saturday Night Live for many years, has penned the film's screenplay.

Fey and Poehler are set to take on the roles of Kate and Maura Ellis and are joined on the cast list by Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin.

The movie follows two disconnected sisters who are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house.

Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

Sisters is released 12th December.
